Lesson 6 Part 1 Challenge

Assignment:

After reading it, go to your blog and describe how social networking has made an impact on your life.
Did you reconnect with friends from the good old days? Did you meet someone online, were you able to get a job through social networking?
Description:
Without checking statistics, but just going from a guestimate, Social networking results to seem to indicate many persons that I know reconnecting and fewer Spam and Phishing messages when compared to sharing my emails usernames.
Social Networking does have features that act as reminders to send a message to friends, which is sometimes more useful than using email account's address book or checking past Inbox and Outbox messages.
I have sometimes described social networking sites to persons as email with bells and whistles, such as photos and public posting options.
I have not had any financial gain through social networking.

Lesson 5 Challenge

Lesson 5 Challenge

I know the site designer meant well, but I can't say that I found the 21cif.com challenge as an effective one. For the "Buffalo" challenge, the site claims that "buffalo" is an ineffective keyword but does not provide any evidence. I do agree with this claim.

The lesson does remind me of the polite British woman who entered "Please" in her queries.  The idea is there, but for me, 21cif.com did not meaningfully compare and contrast results from effective and ineffective searches.
